snow, snow – go away
come back on a winter day
go home! go home snow!
snow, snow – go away
come back on a winter day
go home! go home snow!
today – a new day
possibilities bursting
make the most of it
~~yours truly
Look in the mirror.
What do I see? Mom’s eyes –
staring back at me.
When I was younger,
I was more free. Now I see –
what Dad was talking about.
Adam bought me a rose bush (under duress) this summer. I planted it at the edge of the garden and really didn’t expect much out of the poor plant. It was “on sale” if ya know what I mean…
The thing grew and blossomed and grew and blossomed. We have been enjoying beautiful flowers out of this plant for three months now and I suspect that we will save a few more rose bushes from certain death next year. 😉 I over-edited as I am feeling dramatic lately. It suits my mood, people. Please indulge my whimsy… Jerusalem Artichokes look like mini sunflowers when they blossom. Aren’t they pretty? Most of the plants themselves are over 10 feet tall and the roots are edible. This makes the Lovin Husband happy. We will be eating some “sunchoke” roots as soon as we go on a digging adventure. I’ll keep ya posted.

everything blossoms
the sky shines blue as can be
everything flowers
